Pervious years' events have been a huge success. There is always a lot of energy and excitement in the air as the artists and the audience enjoy painting, drawing, desserts and live music. The art that comes out of this event is impressive.

Held every year, the first Friday of April, local Artists have 1 hour to complete a masterpiece to be auctioned off that evening.

Previous years' Quick Draw Artists include: Robin Carpenter, Bob Fergison, Shirley Frye, Gene Hayes, Carol McLaughlin, Mark Kortnik, Leslie LaViner, Jennie Snyder and Debbie Thompson, Leah Johnson, and Toss Witherrite.

In addition to watching your favorite artist create, one of the exciting things that happen at the event is the random drawing of the Artists of the Wallowas Collection. WVAC members have a chance to take home a piece from the collection for one year. The collection grows every year and right now includes: A painting by Eva Slinker; Three small relief panels by Rodd Ambroson; A photograph by David Jensen; and A stoneware vase by Olaf (Ted Juve); and a painting by Leslie LaViner.
